Situated on the northern outskirts of Zadar, Borik Beach Zadar is a short 2.6 km (1 mile) hop from the city center. Don’t be fooled by the distance, though. The Plaza Borik Zadar is a picturesque coastline that has made quite a name for itself as a major urban beach.

You will find beach borik Zadar nestled within the Falkensteiner Zadar beach hotel complex. If you are not staying there it comes with a small entrance fee, but trust me, it’s worth every penny!

So, what’s the scoop on Borik Beach? Well, it’s got it all! With a mix of finely pebbled and sandy sections, it was one of the best beaches in Zadar. It is always a hit among both kiddos and adults. The sandy parts are perfect for sunbathing, while the stone parts offer a nice contrast. Plus, the shallow shore that Borik sandy beach Zadar slopes gently into the crystal clear sea is a dream for less confident swimmers.

And cleanliness? Well, it’s got a blue flag to its name, which speaks volumes about its purity. However, I must note that some fellow travelers suggest it could be cleaner. Kolovare Beach Zadar City Beach

Kolovare Beach is well-known and highly rated as one of the best beaches in Zadar and is one of the most famous tourist cities on the Adriatic. It’s so popular that it has been awarded the coveted Blue Flag distinction for its cleanliness and high environmental standards!

Despite being a little rocky, Kolovare Beach is a stunning area complete with beach bars perched above. It’s recommended to use water shoes while exploring Kolovare Beach Zadar Croatia due to the small stones, but don’t let that deter you from enjoying the crystal clear water.

The beach is pebbly and has sandy areas that are perfect for families with young children too. A special feature of the beach is the shade provided by lush Mediterranean vegetation, perfect for those hot summer days when you need a break from the sun.

Now, let’s talk about the beach itself. Puntamika isn’t your typical sandy beach – it’s a pebble paradise. There is a gentle slope of pebbles into the beautiful waters of the Adriatic Sea. This makes it perfect for swimmers of all ages. Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or a little one dipping your toes in for the first time, you’ll love the refreshing waters here.

One of my favorite things about this beach is the natural shade provided by the nearby trees. So, you can comfortably spend an entire day here, alternating between soaking up the sun and cooling off in the shade.

And when you’re ready for a break, you can just stroll over to the Bamboo Beach bar right on the beach. Here, you can unwind with a refreshing drink while enjoying the stunning view of the azure Adriatic Sea.

Beach Riva Zadar Croatia Beaches

Now, you might be wondering, Beach Riva Zadar? I thought the Riva was a promenade?” And you’re absolutely right! The Riva is a promenade that is located in the old town of Zadar, but it’s also one of the beloved Zadar Croatia beaches for sun-seekers and swimmers.

The beach Riva Zadar Stretches over a kilometer long, the it is much more than just a path, it’s a whole experience. As you walk along the promenade, you’ll be surrounded by lush greens, swaying palm trees, and stunning views of the Adriatic. It’s the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, soak in the beauty of the Zadar beaches, or even have a little photo shoot with the picturesque scenery as your backdrop.

Close to the beach are the charming places of Veli Rat and Veruni, which are worth exploring if you have the time. Queen’s Beach Nin is a stunning sandy beach that’s just a stone’s throw away from the old city center of Nin. about a 13-minute walk. It’s a favorite among locals and tourists alike, making it one of the most well-known and popular sandy beaches in Zadar.

The beach offers a unique experience. You can walk on warm, soft sand, feeling it squish between your toes as you wade through shallow waters.

Best known as Queens Beach Zadar, Nin’s Lagoon stretches almost a mile long, making it the longest sandy beach in Croatia. Its length and the shallow, calm waters make it the ideal spot for families, especially those with younger kids or people with low mobility.

Zrće Beach | Zadar Beach Club

We’re heading to the party capital of Croatia – Zrće Beach on Pag Island. This isn’t just a beach; Zadar Zrce is a lifestyle of freedom, music, dancing, and carefree time.

Located on the Adriatic island of Pag, Zrće Beach is renowned as one of the best party beaches in the world. It’s situated near the town of Novalja. If you’re traveling from Zadar to Zrce Beach, it’s roughly an hour’s drive.

Punta Rožica Beach is a hidden gem nestled in the small town of Bibinje on the Zadar Riviera.
